Travelling north from Bunbury I have been able to key the repeater as far north as the Pinjarra Road crossing on the Forrest Highway.
Travelling from Bunbury to Greenbushes I can key the repeater to Boyanup, after that nothing. Travelling south to Busselton, I can key the repeater most of the way down the highway until the heavy bush area just north of Busselton. I could not key the repeater in Busselton town from my vehicle but found I could key the repeater along Chapman Hill Road and at the northern end of the Whicher National Park.
Travelling East to Collie and Boddington, I could key the repeater most places up the Collie hill until three odd kilometres from Welly Dam turnoff, then nothing until the Worsley turnoff. Then nothing to or in Collie. Travelling out of Collie on the Williams road I could only key the repeater once and that was at the top of the big hill after Boys Home Road at Norm Road. Then nothing all the way to Boddington.
The newly formed Training and Assessment team would like to announce that we will be running an assessment day on Sunday 27th July from 10am at the Bunbury Mens Shed.
Any person wishing to undertake an assessment for any qualification is encouraged to contact the club by email at vk6brc@gmail.com so we can prepare your assessment.
After the assessments are complete, we will be holding our AGM and everyone is encouraged to stay and participate or observe.
